G'day All, has anyone seen and solved this problem?
Working in a team, we each take a copy of the app and build different sheets. I now want to copy other team members sheets into my copy of the app. However, copy/paste sheets or objects is only working within the same tab of the browser.
Has anyone seen this issue before?
Thanks, Barnaby.
Hello,
I am using the Qlik Cloud Monitoring Applications created with Qlik Cloud Monitoring Apps. In the App Analyzer, specifically in Session Details, I can see the following fields:
Session Start Time
Session End Time
Sheet View Duration
However, the timestamps are displayed in UTC timezone.
I need these values to be shown in GMT-7 (America/Hermosillo) timezone.
Is there a way to change the timezone used in these fields within the monitoring app, or do I need to adjust it manually in the load script or front-end expressions?
Any guidance would be appreciated.
Thank you.
Just commenced a Qlik Cloud trial, free for 30 days.
Unfortunately it has failed at the first step - connecting to my data source in the data load editor, a SQL Server database residing on my local laptop/PC.
I 100% know that my servername\instance is correct.
I 100% know my user & password is correct.
I know the port# is correct, firewall is open for that port (1435 as it's not the default instance). I know SQL is listening on 1435, confirmed by a SQL query.
In other words, all parameters are definitely correct, yet when I test connection I get "Connection failed: Please check the values for Username‚ Password‚ Host and other properties."
I'd like to trial this for my data but so far it is not looking too positive.
Have today noticed that any straight table that had "=''" (equals, single quote, single quote) i.e. a blank column/field label has disappeared.
No error shown, the table object literally just does not render in the DOM. Can the change that broke this be reverted ASAP?

Hi,
So I have a strange issue I want to see if someone can shed some light as to what might be happening.
I have an app (in a Shared space) owned by user 'A'. That same user is the owner of the app's Reload Schedule.
That app generates a QVD file in another space (Managed).
That file is currently owned by user 'B'.
Now, I know I can use the Admin tools and change the ownership of the file, that's not the issue.
The issue I have is: shouldn't the reloading of the app, which triggers the 'Store QVD', also change the ownership of the file?
FYI I tested using my Personal Space by creating a simple app with a Inline load and a Store, to store the resulting table in a QVD in a Managed space. Created a Schedule to reload the app. Both app and reload are then owned by me. I reloaded the app. Checked the file, was owned by me. Using Admin console, changed the ownership to another user. Reloaded the app again, file was back under my ownership?
What am I missing then, why isn't the "real case" changing the ownership of the file? Any ideas?
Thank you.

Hi everyone,
I hope you are all doing well. I am writing to you all mainly because we are getting an error while using the real-time API function in Qlik Predict, specifically the FAILED_PRECONDITION error when trying to load the data for a forecast app. Additionally, we kept the Enable real-time API access option active in the experiment when we deployed it.
On the other hand, this is current script.
We are looking to hearing from you soon!
Thanks a bunch!
Hello everyone,
I received a requirement to calculate weighted availability, meaning:
The percentage of total sales in the stores where the selected product is sold, out of the total sales across all stores.
The expression needs to be displayed in two charts:
A Bar chart with Sector as the dimension.
A Line chart with Sector and Year as dimensions.
I was able to create the bar chart using the following expression:
({1<[Material]=P({1<[Product_Division]={'10','12','13','16','26','30','35'}>}[Material]), CustKey=P({<[Customers.Name] -= {"*Marlog*"}, [Customer_H6_Desc.]={'Private'}>} CustKey),
, Year = $::Year>}
[Sales])
/
{1< [Material]=P({1<[Product_Division]={'10','12','13','16','26','30','35','40'}>}[Material]), CustKey = P({1<[Customers.Name] -= {"*Marlog*"}, [Customer_H6_Desc.]={'Private'}>}CustKey), Year = $::Year>}
[Sales]
However, I was not able to make it work properly for the line chart.
There are Three additional constraints:
[Sales] is already a master measure and cannot be modified.
The line chart should ignore Year selection (So the trend will always be visible).
There may be selections on different product levels (Category, Barcode, etc.).
I would appreciate a solution or an alternative expression that might work better in this scenario.
Thanks in advance!
