OpenAI recently released GPT 5.2, and we're excited to share that we've been hard at work evaluating it before bringing it to you. We ran a full assessment across a range of the latest large language models and put GPT 5.2 through extensive internal employee testing.More comprehensive tool calling. GPT 5.2 is more comprehensive in the sets of tools it uses to help answer user questions. As a result, it provides a more helpful answer, and is less likely to need to handoff users to internal help channels.Better Enterprise Search. GPT 5.2 works better with Enterprise Search. GPT 5.2 provides a more concise and relevant search query when using Search. This means the assistant finds what you're looking for more efficiently, with less noise in the search process.Speedier model. The model is more efficient at producing each individual piece of output so generates output faster. For more simple requests, it goes through less internal deliberation before making tools calls. And, it also produces fewer output, which also means less waiting time. All in all, GPT 5.2 is a faster model than GPT 5.1. When will GPT 5.2 be available in Moveworks?As of March 9, we have started rolling out GPT 5.2 to customers. Hello Moveworks Community.In January, we announced a major Search upgrade - the introduction of the new Enterprise Search plugin, starting with a rollout in the US and EU data center regions, and enabled opt-in early access. Thanks to everyone who tried out the new plugin in early access! Early feedback has been positive for the experience, including more comprehensive answers and citations. Update to rollout timeline: Progressive rollout starting Tuesday, March 3 over the next 8 weeksWhy: We have been gradually onboarding a few early adopter customers, and carefully analyzing how the new search services are scaling with hundreds of thousands of new users. Our goal is to progressively scale up our infrastructure with the rollout to make sure that all users have a great experience as they are onboarded.We will monitor the performance and will move faster as soon as we are confident that we are well set up to manage the scale.What happens next for US customers?We will be progressively rolling out access to all customers in the US region over the next 8 weeks, starting March 3. This is a longer timeline than we had initially communicated but based on our analysis, we decided to progressively scale up our infrastructure with the rollout to make sure that all users have a great experience as they are onboarded.We will reach out with an email to you when we are ready to onboard you, via switching your organization's search plugin to enterprise search plugin. You will have at least 1 week's advance notice before we make the change.  AI Assistant: Smarter, Clearer Messages We’re updating how the AI Assistant formats its messages to make them easier to read. Instead of dense blocks of plain text, responses will soon include structure like section headers, bullet points, code lines, code blocks, and bolded key details. These improvements make it easier for employees to scan information quickly, understand what matters, and act with confidence.Before / After Examples:Headers make it easier for employees to read responses.Bullets help format responses. AI Assistant: Added Transparency in Reasoning Steps Employees will now see which systems the Assistant is searching in (ex. Confluence, ServiceNow, or SharePoint) and what steps it’s taking to generate a response. You’ll also see improved copy and wording in these progress messages, with additional visual polish coming soon.What’s changing:Transparent knowledge sources, instead of seeing “Searching knowledge base” now you’ll see system names “Searching across Confluence, Jira, Notion + 5 more”. Assistant will continue to only search through the system a user has access to. A visual design refresh is also underway, so these progress updates are easier to scan and take up less space. Additional improvements will roll out incrementally over the next few months so stay tunned for additional updates in this area.Before:After:AI Assistant: Smart Handoff via Channel Resolver Moveworks AI Assistant intelligently interprets user messages in public Slack channels and responds based on relevant knowledge and configured workflows. However, there are instances where a software is not yet integrated, or no helpful articles or workflows are available. In such cases, the AI Assistant now offers smart handoff to continue the conversation in a direct message (DM), giving end users a clear path forward—without waiting for a human agent to join the original thread.With this feature, users can choose to either:File a ticket, or Chat with a live agent based on the issue they originally posted in a public Slack channel. Key Behaviours:The AI Assistant will only initiate a DM handoff when no relevant knowledge or workflow match is found. It will not respond to messages associated with disabled domains. The original thread will be marked with a “no resolution” emoji and will not be updated if the user chooses to file a ticket or contact a live agent from the DM. Important Notes:This feature is not compatible with automatic ticketing configurations.
