I have had an INR claim, it looked genuine, so I was happy to deal with it. Having been on eBay for 20 years or so, I was willing to do what I have always done and give an immediate refund, so when the REFUND BUYER screen came up I went ahead and refunded, in the knowledge that Simple Delivery would reimburse me. A few days later I noticed that ebay had taken the money out of my account to refund the buyer, but I was out of pocket. Apparently refunding the buyer was the wrong thing to do. I contacted Customer Services (Ireland), and was told that I should not have refunded as eBay would automatically refund the buyer after three days. I mentioned that having to ask the Buyer to wait three days for a refund could cause problems, and anyway would my NOT responding to the Refund Buyer screen cause a strike against my account? I was assured that this was not the case, and that I should wait for ebay to refund and then contact Customer service. It strikes me that if everyone who has to deal with a refund is contacting Customer Services, then they are going to be very busy indeed! I was also told that there was nothing that could be done, and I had lost the refunded money. This was not sitting easy with me, and so a couple of days later I rang again (Ireland), as I was sure that the information was wrong, and spoke to a woman who was extremely aggressive. After I had explained the situation, she said that she would make a Manual Override and refund my money. So, my point of all this is......if in the case of INR, Simple delivery refunds both the buyer and the seller after three days, then why does ebay prompt you to immediately refund the buyer? I have seen this problem come up in quite a few posts recently, with people unable to figure out what they are supposed to do. Secondly the results from Customer Service seem to depend on who you are speaking to, why did the first agent not process my refund? The overall problem here is that ebay change the way things are done, when you have been doing refunds in one way for years, and then the system changes, and you are not aware of how the change affects the way you do things, then that creates problems for both buyers and sellers.

Has anyone else NOT received their scheduled payout today?. My payout was scheduled to be sent today, 27th June but has not been sent to my bank. Is anyone else facing a similar situation today?. Is this a known issue?. Any replies from anyone else who is in the same situation would be really helpful.

I sold an item but it broke, so I never dispatched it. I issued a full refund to the buyer through eBay. However, eBay never actually released the original payout to me—the funds were still pending in my eBay balance. Because of this, my account balance has wrongly gone negative, and eBay is trying to charge my bank account. Please reverse this charge, as I never received the buyer's money to begin with

I'm getting this message on nearly every item I try to buy,  even on UK items, I have checked with sellers and others dont have an issue and the items can be purchased from a different family members account account without issue, location is not blocked and I have reset site and chrome setting. Please advise what I can do to resolve this as my account has a feedback rating of 4896 with a red star  and I really dont want to start again from Zero with a new account.

Hi, I'm trying to add my bank account as I would like to start selling some of my items. When I try and do this in the selling page of my account where it says to 'add bank account', it forces me to try and use the trustly app to log into my bank account. I do not consent to use this. Even if I type in the search box which is on the pop up page where you can search for your bank if its not one of the 8 main banks listed, it still reverts to the trustly app when you scroll to the bottom of the list and select 'add bank manually'. I just want to add my bank details and verify using micro deposits. I do not want to use the trustly app in any capacity. How can I do this? I have read quite a few posts and nothing seems to work.
