Going off of my recent repost of SROSF’s post, that’s the main reason why I ended up cancelling BFDIACR. It just didn’t feel right to have a new host along with an almost entirely different plot when the entire purpose of bringing it back is to essentially time travel back to when the original BFDIAC started.

what i've learned during my time is that the old times are the old times, no matter what you do you can't bring them back to their former glory. i guarantee you, you will look back at the recent times the same as you do the old times right now
