I made it to Japan safely! The hotel I'll be staying at for the next two nights have wifi and I can use it until about 10pm JST when the lobby closes lol the only place we can get the connection.

It's been pretty cool so far, been loving all the nice hotels and inns. I was really excited today after hearing a lecture about the effects of the Great East Japan Earthquake on Daigo-machi in Ibaraki-prefecture which was done in both Japanese AND English. They had the speaker do a paragraph or so in Japanese and then a translator say it in English immediately after. It was amazingly gripping that I got to listen to the beautiful fluent Japanese first and then hear how much I actually understood through the translator.

Secondly: Supposed to tag eight people... but wtfever lol. Tagging whoever wants to do it.

My brain might be a little fuzzy since I'm doing this at like 4am.

Is there a hobby you want to take up?
Hopefully continuing self-teaching piano/keyboard.

What is your favorite time of day and why?
About 2pm till the evening. I'm not a morning person, and I'm almost nocturnal lol.

What kind of books do you read?
Manga, mystery, adventure, mature, psychological, tragedy, and maybe little hints of drama and romance.

What is the weather like today?
The weather was pretty moderate. In the shade it felt kind of cold though. I just loved the weather today ♥

What's a major wishlister of yours?
Getting involved with music in some way. I just love it y'know.

What was your favorite anime growing up?
Pokemon of course! I woke up earlier on Saturdays at like 8am to watch episodes sometimes, lol. It usually ended up in fail and that's partly how I discovered Tokyo Mew Mew or known to me as Mew Mew Power.
Also, Cardcaptor Sakura. It was the first anime I watched in Japanese with subs. Before that I would be like "whatttt where is the English omggg" but with CCS I was like "oh whatever LETS GO!!"

What's your current fandom/obsession/addiction?
DEATH NOTE OMGGG c'mon, everyone in the animanga fandom has to at least heard of it! I recently have read it and watching the anime at the moment and omgg it's like the best story I've ever read. I think it's so well thought out and smart. The ending was kind of pathetic but I thought it over and I think the ending fits well after I speculated a little more. Good must win over evil, y'know the usual crap. xD /saka sorry I'm rambling...

What are you listening to right now?
Sensibility- Hitomi

What food could you eat every day for weeks and not get sick of?
Rice and noodles- oh wait I already do that.

Mangafox, Livejournal, Hotmail, MMF, Onemanga, Google... I think that's it.

Doing a bunch of things on LJ.

What was the cutest thing you've seen today?
Pictures of a kitten! It's a friends cat but it's going to be coming to my place for three days of the week! 8DD

Does the weather affect your mood?
idk I blame everything on the weather. If it's humid I'm like "damn I'm tired." and when it rains I say the same. Only on regular moderate temperature days am I feeling pretty good.

What is your zodiac sign?
Scorpio.

Do you want to learn another language?
Hmm... I'm already learning Japanese in school so... I guess Latin or Italian?

What do you like to do when you need cheering up?
I listen to classical music and read books.

If you had to live in another country, what country would you live in?
Venice, Italy. I've suddenly been having an obsession with riding in gondolas since I've started reading ARIA by Kozue Amano.

One thing you want to change about yourself.
Be more sociable. idk if you know me irl it's more obvious, but I'm almost anti-social.
Oh, and doing school work on time. I'm a procrastinator and I'd finally finish projects the day before the semester or school ends.

What are you looking forward to?
School! I love going to school and I'm going to be back to school on September 9th! Only a couple of weeks away, haha ♥
