ICSA/APS Team Race National Championships Day One

St. Petersburg, Fla. (May 25, 2013) – Today was the first day of racing for the ICSA/APS Team Race National Championships on Tampa Bay in St. Petersburg, Fla. The event is co-hosted by the University of South Florida, St. Petersburg, Eckerd College and St. Petersburg Yacht Club. Fourteen collegiate teams from across the nation qualified to compete for the Walter C. Wood Trophy, awarded to the winning team at the ICSA/APS Team Race National Championship. The trophy honors Walter C. “Jack” Wood, MIT’s first sailing director and whom in conjunction with Leonard M. Fowle, was a founder of college racing.

Dartmouth College Wins the Sperry Top-Sider/ICSA Women’s National Championship

St. Petersburg, Fla. (May 24, 2013) – Today was the last day of racing for the Sperry Top-Sider/ICSA Women’s National Championship on Tampa Bay in St. Petersburg, Fla. The event is co-hosted by the University of South Florida, St. Petersburg, Eckerd College and the St. Petersburg Yacht Club. Eighteen women’s collegiate teams raced for the Gerald C. Miller Trophy and Dartmouth College came out the victor.

Quantum Women’s College Sailor of the Year Announced

St. Petersburg, Fla. (May 24, 2013) – The Quantum Women’s College Sailor of the Year award and ICSA Women’s All-American Team were announced at the final banquet for the Sperry Top-Sider/ICSA Women’s National Championships in St. Petersburg, Fla. at the University of South Florida, St. Petersburg.

(May 23, 2013) – The Sperry Top-Sider/ICSA Women’s National Championship continued today in St. Petersburg, Fla. on Tampa Bay co-sponsored by the University of South Florida, St. Petersburg, Eckerd College and St. Petersburg Yacht Club. Eighteen collegiate teams from across the nation are vying for the national title, the Gerald C. Miller Trophy, awarded to the winning team.
