Restoring ecosystems and building resilient communities for long-term climate stability
Our Mission
We partner with communities to restore ecosystems and build the economic and social systems that sustain biodiversity, water, and climate resilience for generations.
Collaborative Pathways
Collaborative for Change builds integrated, community-led systems rooted in environmental restoration.
We begin with the land, restoring ecosystems through training in nurseries, seed banks, and regenerative food systems. From there, we integrate schools, health and wellbeing centers, vocational pathways, water and energy systems, and women-led enterprise into coordinated community frameworks.
In partnership with the Local Communities Prosperity Alliance (LCPA), projects operate within country-level networks that connect into a broader systems-level architecture. We provide preparation, governance sequencing, and infrastructure integration, while communities determine design, culture, and implementation.
This is not isolated aid.
It is structured, place-based development designed to endure.
Seed Banks & Biodiversity
Collaborative for Change is building a network of community-based seed banks to safeguard native biodiversity and ensure a reliable supply of climate-resilient species for restoration. Seed banks serve as living libraries: protecting genetic diversity, providing training opportunities, and supplying high-quality seed for nurseries and reforestation.
Guided by Jill Wagner, a global expert in seed banking and reforestation, we are designing regional hubs that conserve native species and serve as demonstration sites where local communities learn best practices in collection, storage, and propagation.
