Valerie Coleman

Valerie Coleman is an internationally acclaimed Grammy® nominated flutist, composer, and entrepreneur who was named Performance Today’s 2020 Classical Woman of the Year. She is an alumna of Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center CMS Two Fellowship program, laureate of Concert Artists Guild competition, and creator of the ensemble Imani Winds. Listed as “one of the Top 35 Women Composers” in the Washington Post by critic Anne Midgette, Valerie Coleman is a highly sought-after clinician who has given masterclasses at institutions in 49 states, and over 5 continents. Her work, UMOJA, was listed by Chamber Music America as one of the “Top 101 Great American Ensemble Works” and is a staple within woodwind literature.

alyssa mercedes mena

Mena, a Cuban-American flutist, composer, and educator based in Miami, FL, was among the first additions to the Coleman Page catalog, with her work for Solo Alto Flute, Hasta La Raíz.  This work was a winner in the 2025 National Flute Association Newly Published Music Competition.  Hermanas is a duet for alto flute and bass flute, which was commissioned by Rose Bishop and Heather Neuenschwander, and a part of their 2025 album Unseen // Unheard. kevin newton

Hill House, was composed by The GRAMMY® winning hornist, composer, and educator, Kevin Newton. This work for horn and piano is inspired by a cherished personal story from the composer’s childhood.

kyrese washington

Kyrese Washington’s poem, for flute and piano, was premiered by the composer at the 2024 Flutistry Boston Flute Festival, and it was a winner in the 2025 Flute New Music Consortium composer competition. This work is among the most recent of a growing number of exciting works in the award-winning flutist and composer’s catalog.

Dr. Trevor Weston’s A.N.S (A New Sound) is among the latest of his extensive catalog of works. The multi-award winning composer and educator is Professor of Music, Chair, Music Department at Drew University and a member of the faculty for MAP and Pre-College programs at the Juilliard School.
