Kuai Liang were abducted as young children by the Lin Kuei, an ancient clan of Chinese assassins. The two were trained in martial arts and Bi-Han mastered his cryomancer abilities. As his name, clothes, and powers would suggest, his character was icy and distant. In all aspects, he was a cold-blooded and violent assassin absolutely dedicated to his clan, the Lin Kuei. Sub-Zero is regarded to be among the strongest, if not the deadliest outright, of the Lin Kuei's assassins. The fact that he was chosen for, and succeeded, in a mission to slay four of Earthrealm's gods is a clear testament to his deadly skill. Among his other notable exploits, he can boast that he was sent, alone, to stop the forces of Netherrealm from invading Earthrealm.
