OH HAY. so i figured since i added a bunch of new people, i'd tell you who i am so you don't think i'm some creepy 60-year-old man. i'm not sure WHY you'd think that, necessarily, but you know.

name: emily molyneux (it looks like a french last name but it's actually irish. weird.)
age: 24 WHEN DID THAT HAPPEN.
location: used to live in calgary, alberta, but moved my ass to victoria, BC, canada

what i do: i'm a barista.
why i do that: because i'm a really lazy student and don't want to go back to school D:
what i do at school that's so boring: i'm an art student, so i really shouldn't complain in the end.

what i do in my spare time: i like playing music and things like that.
that's vague: yeah, it's because i'm ~MODEST.
what i play: piano mostly. and self-taught guitar that i'm alright at. and i sing.

what i do when i'm not playing music: snowboarding, weather permitting, is a big part of my life.
anything else?: i smoke a lot of weed.
really?: well, i dunno. i live in BC.

what i listen to: check my last.fm, y'all. it's pretty much all muse all the time. with some radiohead and gorillaz and the dandy warhols. and the killers. and champion. and death cab and electric president and coldplay. and jimmy eat world because i'm secretly 16. ratatat is my newest love, and i'm getting into pink floyd. love me some keane, too. AND SNOW PATROL.
what i watch: i used to be SUPERHARDCORE into TV fandom. but then all the shows i watched started sucking so now i really just follow entourage and i'm in love with everything doctor who.
what i read: anything involving the bleak future and/or a post-apocalyptic world. also anything involving characters who are socially inept but in a very intriguing way. i think orwell's 1984 or atwood's the handmaid's tale are at the top of my list right now.

any cool facts to share?: i lived in australia for a year. i have a cat named satine but she lives far away (for now.) i just moved to a new city AND IT IS GORGEOUS. i love the ocean. i have two uteruses and one kidney. what the fuck. i am proud to have lost over 80lbs and counting. i don't really like drinking very often but will never say no to mushrooms or MDMA. or pot obviously. i'm missing a tendon in my toe because they took it out and put it in my finger. i love orcas. i sing in the car. i live for diet pepsi. i will never say no to pizza (keep that in mind if you ever feel the urge to send me a gift.) i have an amazing family. i have over 50 scuba dives under my belt. i touched a manta ray and scratched a sea turtle's shell and he LOVED it. i can't cook. but i CAN clean. i have insane ADHD and slight OCD (which is why i never capitalize when i should ... it looks weird to me whenever just one letter stands out above the others.) i am not girly at all and own like ONE dress. which i never wear anyway. i was adopted and met my birth mother at 21 ... we're superclose now. i have a 14-year-old half brother named quentin. i quit smoking on july 31st, my birthday. it's also harry potter's birthday.

i just did a BIG friends cut.

i cut people i haven't heard from in months, people who i just have nothing in common with at ALL anymore, and people who haven't updated in ages.
