Hi All

Hi Neeraj,

Congratulations! You have passed the Oracle Certified Master, Java EE 5 Enterprise Architect certification. You are among the elite 1% of certified Java professionals who have gone on to achieve the Java Enterprise Architect certification.

You have received a passing score. Passing grades do not receive a score, just the pass. A failing grade will receive section level scoring so that a candidate may isolate the area of failure and resubmit their assignment. Numeric scores are only provided on failures.

The above message makes me really proud and happy, the credit goes to this forum for the support.

Thanks again and good luck to the people who are on there way to SCEA.

I also failed in the deployment diagram with 2 marks, resubmitted and cleared this time
I got the same assignment and will start working on this soon.

Hello Ranchers

I cleared the SCEA Part 1 today with 73% with 1 month preparation average 3 hours a day. My experience is its not easy subject to deal with, you should have good experience with JEE technologies. My experience with the exam is

* More than 10% questions were on the Web Services
* Don't apply JSF and EJB 3 for everything
* Do lot of Mock exams it will help a lot

My Preparation

1) Sun Certified Enterprise Architect for j2ee Technology by MARK CADE / SIMON ROBERTS
2) Core J2EE Patterns: Best Practices and Design Strategies
3) Head First Servlet and JSP (for web part) not covered JSF
4) J2EE Web Services
5) J2EE Web Services: XML SOAP WSDL UDDI WS-I JAX-RPC JAXR SAAJ JAXP
6) http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/articles/javase/index-137171.html (REST Services)
7) http://download.oracle.com/javase/6/docs/technotes/guides/security/ (Security)
8) http://download.oracle.com/javaee/5/tutorial/doc/ ( Good Reference Point)

Good Luck to every one to those who are planning to attempt soon... agree with most of them its really race against time.

Hello All the Ranchers

I cleared SCWCD with 85% it would have been better but never the less i am happy with the result.

Preparation :-
1) Read HFSJ around 2 times i missed the topic Dynamic attributes in the book and then i figured it out a link from the author Dynamic Attributes but the book is really awesome to read and the fun part is the pictures, i really loved it because i am fan of the action movies.
2) I do suggest the people who are planning to attempt the SCWCD to go through the SCWCD Links
3) The Marcus's Pages are really helpful and Mock Exams.

People to blame Credit:-
1) All my family members.
2) All the Ranchers.

Next Mission
Planning to take a break before next mission to (SCDJWS/OCPJWSD).

Thanks
