A front to Scrot using yad. Simple interface - change path, determine time intervals, edit how many screenshots run in the background, enable or disable notifications, and edit output name.

scrotyad

A yad face/front/gui for scrot with notifications (option to enable/disable)

This tool uses scrot to take image screen captures in the back. You can:

change path to save ss

  • set intervals in seconds for captures
  • set number of screen captures
  • set notifications enabled/disabled

Install and run

Download scrotyad deb from here or sourceforge Install using dpkg -i or software manager To run the script, use the command: scrotyad.sh The app will display Select the options Click Start

Uninstall

dpkg -r scrotyad
