How do you continually protect yourself in an ever changing world? Do you know what to do in a crisis situation or how to protect yourself from fraud or identity theft? Whether you need a refresher or want to learn news skills, these free courses will help achieve your goals. Conducted by College of DuPage's Police Department, attendees will learn what to do in emergency situations where there is uncontrollable bleeding and learn how to protect themselves from identity theft and fraud schemes.

Whether it is in a virtual or in-person environment, there is a chance that you may encounter someone in crisis. This session will help equip you to know what action steps you can take when you encounter someone in crisis. Information covered in this session will help you both in work and in life.
Active Violence Preparedness Phase II

Awareness is the key to preventing violence. In this 90-minute session, members of the College of DuPage Police Department share the fundamentals that promote informed decision-making in a threat event.
Participants will:
- Review the ALICE model (Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter and Evacuate).
- Discover implementation techniques and practical tactics for Hide and Fight Scenarios.
- Participate in a Personal Decision-Making Scenario, using information known about a threat and the principles and techniques of the ALICE model.
