Hey Friends,

going to be in california in September for vaction; the plan is to fly into Vegas for the weekend 9/3 - 9/5 with the rest of the gang; then we plan to head straight across to the coast and cruise up the San Francisco over a few days time.
Any suggestions would be great.
Is that a good time to be there; I mean weather wise?
Any advise; suggestions would be great.

Coco is my nick name I was saddled with when I was born many many many years ago by my older brother cuz he could not say my proper name, and 1228 is my birth month & day

I am still know to this day as Coco, I don't mind though :)

Well, I would claim it anonomously, then make sure my sisters, brother & Dad were taken care of financially, as well as a few close friends (you know who you are), then I would be on a fast plane going some where fabulous for a really long time.
then when I was done travelling I would find my dream location, build a huge house so I can have my family come and stay when ever and for how long they wish. I would also make sure my god children have money for a college education, and once they graduate from college I would buy them each a house or condo & a car of their choosing.

Little Kittie

A few pictures of little kittie, still no name yet, think will wait till vet confirms sex of little kittie, way too young to tell now. Still bottle feeding it, probably for another week or so, it is doing better with solid food but I still think it needs milk replacement for while.

Original kittie who I have had to rename jinx because he turned out to be a boy is doing really well he has gained 2 pounds in 3 weeks and is about triple the size. he likes to be mean to little kittie though so I have to keep a close eye on them.

This one weighs less than a quarter pound, I put it on the scale yesterday and the gauge only moved to the very first line, what does that equate too, 1/16th of a pound?!? it sits in the palm of my hand!!

Cave in and get a kitten?

Hubby has been hinting around he would like to get one.

Me I am not so sure.

Yes kittens are really really adorable and flufffy and cuddly, but they do grow into cat's and I am not so sure I can handle one.

I don't know if I can keep from flipping out if I see the kitten/cat on the kitchen counter or Kitchen table, then theres the whole litter box thing, I just know that will become MY responsibility.

I think I have gone over from "NO WAY,NO CAT" to ok but I get to pick it out because I want a really cool looking one with green eyes!

I am not sure if I even know how to care for a cat, yes I have a dog and know how to care for her but then, I have had dog's all my life practically so no problems there.

Well I will sleep on it some more, maybe buy a few books and read up on cat care and see what happens.

<lj-cut text = "So I went to see this movie yesterday, I had to drive about 60 miles round trip since it's a limited release around here. I am happy to say it was well worth the drive.

Colin's character was lovely, Helen Hunt she was pretty good as well. Bette Midler was true to form (love her) and well Matthew Broderick, I suppose he was ok.

In all honesty I have to say I think this is the first film where I actually seen Mr. Tall Dark & Handsome, on the big screen!!
He lookes really good in this film!!

This is one I will be adding to my cd library as soon as it comes out.

And bonus, one of th previews was for "And When DId You Last See Your Father", that one looks like one not to miss, although it does look like it might be a tear jerker as I started welling up just watching the preview."

Holiday Party Game Ideas

Hello, pardon me if this is not allowed.

I find myself yet again responsible for coordinating a company Holiday Party
and am out of ideas for games, we always have a raffle and I need to come up
with some good games or whatever for roughly 70 people, these can be individual participation or group participation.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
