Who We Are

The Council of Ontario Construction Associations is a federation of 29 member associations—the largest and most representative group of industrial, commercial, institutional (ICI) and heavy civil construction employers in Ontario.

What We Do

COCA brings the concerns of our members to the attention of senior officials and decision-makers at Queen’s Park. We work with the government to ensure that Ontario’s legislative landscape enables our industry to thrive.

Advocacy Priorities

COCA’s professional staff leads targeted advocacy efforts on behalf of our member associations, engaging directly with government to address priorities like health & safety, WSIB fairness, skilled trades development, and prompt payment under the Construction Act.

Membership

Membership in COCA is open to, Local mixed trade associations, Single‑trade organizations and Prime contractor and builder associations.

By joining a COCA member association, you’re not just gaining local representation—you’re becoming part of a powerful, province‑wide network that advocates for safer job sites, fair legislation, and a stronger construction industry.

Individuals and companies are encouraged to become members of one of our local construction associations or provincial trade associations.
