This is REALLY beginning to annoy me...
It took my roommate and I (okay, mostly my roommate, since he set up the networking in the apartment) three hours to re-establish a net connection on all three computers after it spontaneously crashed. And it's still a tad unstable... *crosses his fingers*
Allen's got some line-split deal running that sort of works, but cable modem access isn't exactly optimal for multiple machines, and the setup can be finicky when it feels like it. This time we had to change the IPs, plus some other fiddling that I never understood... Glad Allen knows what he's doing. Me, I'm just gladly reminding myself why I never intend to get into networking.
