Okay, someone explain this to me.

North Korea has willingly admitted to Japan that they kidnapped multiple Japanese civilians, but hasn't returned any of them yet. North Korea developed nukes in clear violation of an earlier (otherwise generous) treaty with the US and Japan, not to mention the Nuclear Proliferation Treaty, and is capable of making Tokyo glow a nice shade of green at the moment. So why did I get a paper shoved into my hands this week by a student demonstrator claiming that the Japanese goverment (along with the US, of course, which is at fault for everything) is "oppressing North Korea with imperial dogmas"? (He was nice enough to hand me a bilingual one. Joy. >_<)
