Now I know how "Mothra" was inspired

Japan's apparently in that stage where a few bugs haven't quite gone into hibernation or whatever for the winter, but it's too cold for them anyway. Specifically, the moth population. Hence, they've started congregating around any source of heat whenever night falls. Some park on patio doors, some hang from outdoor lights, and some just freeze and can be found the next morning stiff (though not always dead) on the ground. For those who have forgotten, bugs here can and do come super-sized... it's alarming to glance up while walking home and spotting this moth with a wingspan the width of my HAND dangling from a street lamp overhead.
