I've discovered something while here: Japan has some really noisy eaters. Particularly when eating noodles. They slurp them out of the bowl. You're expected to, in fact. If you don't, that means you're eating "too slowly", which suggests you don't like the taste. (Funny, and all this time Mom's been telling me to slow down or I wouldn't be able to taste the food.) Anyway, this combined with a lack of napkins around here can make eating a sloppy affair.



My element is justified once more. (But the kanji for "earth" was incorrect... if you're going the elemental route, you should use the "do" in "doyoubi"... Saturday. That was your Japanese lesson for today!)
