Yes. Yes. Yes.
I'm prepping for an exchange trip to Japan (hopefully I'll be leaving in August), and we had a bit of a culture-shock orientation today. One of the exercises involved taking eight people (including me) from the room and giving the rest of the group two "cultural quirks" which we had to figure out purely by asking true-false questions. We figured out the first quickly enough: the guys only spoke to other guys, and the girls only to girls. The second one baffled me. It seemed like the guys were only answering "yes" to my questions, no matter what I asked, but the instructor said that wasn't the quirk. Turns out I was being too friendly; they always answered "yes" if I was smiling and "no" if I wasn't. (Hey, I can't help it if I found this entire thing a little amusing. Especially when one guy gladly admitted to drinking toilet water.)
Oh, and for those not from the land of the free and the home of the brave ("Scotland!"), no, all Americans are NOT like those on Jerry Springer/Baywatch. (#1 question asked of exchange students. Be afraid.)
Lots of online tests floating around, but only one perked my interest:

Which Action Star Are You? Find out @ She's Crafty
One of these days I actually need to see that movie...
