Drill Bit - One block at a time.
In Drill Bit you play as an alien at a strange planet in a miner/extractor game loop where you upgrade yourself and try to go deeper to find your ships parts and escape!
The idea was to have a passive/chill approach to the extractor genre, with no enemies, your limitations are your skills and resources. The game was entirely made by myself from scracth, with the exception of the music, that was downloaded from Zapsplat (royalty free).
This is a submission to the Brackeyz Game Jam 2026.1

Cute game!! One thing that could be improved is the ability to just drill in the direction of your mouse without having to physically click the block like in Terraria. I was confused on how to break blocks for the first little bit because I just assumed you could hold left click and drill in a direction and it would work haha. That control scheme is a lot more intuitive I feel

The red ore is hard to see and the music is very loud.
yeah, it was against the red stone before and it was impossible to see haha, its still not perfect, will keep that in mind if I iterate on it further, thanks for the feedback!

awesome game but I hate that the dash isn't in your moving direction, instead using your pointing direction. everything else was very fun and looks good!
