What are the fees or costs to come out and fix my A/C problem?
During normal business hours (Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm EST), our service fee is $150, which covers travel and diagnostic work. If you proceed with repairs through CM Air & Refrigeration, we waive this fee. After hours, the service fee is $299 (not waived). Once the issue is diagnosed, we’ll review repair options so you can make the decision that works best for you.
Tip: Enrollment in our maintenance program provides discounts on service fees and repairs.
How much does a new air conditioner system cost?
Costs vary based on electrical work, ductwork, system size, air handler and condenser location, load calculations, and energy efficiency preferences. All installed units come with a minimum 10-year manufacturer warranty on major components and a 1-year labor warranty. Call us for a free estimate — we’ll walk you through every option.
Do we need to have our ducts cleaned?
Most ducts do not require routine cleaning. Air filters and evaporator coils prevent most debris from entering your system, and Florida’s flexible ductwork can be damaged during cleaning. However, we offer ULV duct sanitizing sprays and a range of indoor air quality upgrades, including UV lights, air scrubbers, and ionizers.
Do we need regular AC maintenance?
Yes! Even properly installed systems with clean filters benefit from routine maintenance. Our biannual maintenance plan reduces breakdowns and keeps your AC running efficiently, with discounts on future repairs.
