Deep is the lake that dwells off the coast, with unusually dark water that is mysteriously impossible to see at any depth though it is clean and safe to drink. Skip a stone and it shall not ripple, nor make a sound. The shore boasts large weathered rocks, and further inland a forest of eternal autumn, with leaves a deep crimson, and flowers the same vibrant red. The forest, though, is eerily silent, no birdsong nor sight of creatures during day or night. There are whispers, though, and the longer spent in the woods, the quicker one finds themselves to be sleepy...but do not slumber here, or you shall find that the plant life which dwells here thirsts for blood as much as water.
