Ending Substack
Hi everyone,
In May of 2025, after receiving multiple invitations to write books on Human Design, I paused the Substack paid subscription to get clarity about how I wanted to focus my energy. I didn’t want to keep charging if I couldn’t be consistent in how I was showing up.
In the bigger picture, though, as a 5/2 profile, it has been really important for me to sit with the book invitations and sort out what is mine versus what is other people’s projection of me. Just as I teach my 2/5 and 5/2 profile people, it is critical that those in the double projection field be self-determined.
As I did that, it became really clear that the vision I have for my work—both in Human Design and in the more esoteric teachings on spiritual alchemy and magick—is much bigger than the current containers I’ve built. The Map & Portal, as well as the Gates Codex, are here to stay and still fit (with some minor tweaks) the bigger vision. But as much as I wanted it to work, Substack does not fit that bigger vision.
As you may know, I’ve attempted this sort of low-cost monthly subscription on a variety of platforms and have never been able to make it work. On the surface, it always seemed related to the tech. But what Substack showed me is that it was never about the tech. It was about trying to shove what I do into containers that are just too small.
With that, I’ll be issuing prorated refunds to all paid subscribers—whether you’re on a yearly or monthly plan. If you had time remaining on your subscription when I paused it in May, you’ll receive a refund for that unused portion. There’s nothing you need to do on your end; it will happen automatically.
I hope you understand, and I want to thank each of you for what you’ve contributed to my work. From the bottom of my heart, I am truly humbled and honored to be one of your guides on this wild ride called life.
Until we meet again,
Christie Inge
