Need of help

Hey everyone,
Seems like I've risen back to post here doesn't it? Well, in a way yes. I know some of my fellow GHers, and other friends are here, so rather than ask on say Facebook I'm recruiting some help here in the hope of getting interest and contributions. Anyone else who's a friend of mine here too I can ask.

I'm looking to sometime purchase vBulletin board for a forum I've already posted, but would rather start up with vBulletin.

Andy and myself are managing the current site but no members - Muse to paper. It's an RPG forum, but considering its free-ness, it doesn't have the hacks and possibilities bulletin offers.

So I'm asking for contribution help and rewards for doing so - however we only ask if you intend to join us and want to be part of the staffing we're in need of also. If you ARE interested:

Hey everyone,
As those on my flist may remember I once did a battle of the ships interactive challenge and had an adequate response? Well, thanks to Ali who has done Fandom Musical Chairs, and her consent to doing a similar poll/interaction/fic with readers I propose in bringing you Fandom Twister :D

It would wok in the way of you telling me what the twister board would come up with if spun and a character to be eliminated. I'll liekly hold 10 characters in this so my question to my flist, AND visitors is:

A) Should I pursue with this idea?
B) Name me some characters you'd like to see in this (note: not guarenteed to be a contestant but I'll try my best to fit various characters, and it has to be some I know from fandoms I would watch otherwise there's no point)

Hmmm.... I don't know really. Do you mean cross the fandoms? Or non-conventional singular canon fandoms? If you know what I mean by that? But I'll half assume both. If I'm wrong, comment and I'll change my answer.

CSI: NY all the way. I love them all but NY somewhat holds a special place in my heart. And I'd love to be in the CSI team, or a main techie like Adam is at the moment.

Hmm... I could be ;) I'm only 20 but hey I'm Krissi's mother... which makes that funny :)

I feel honour being tagged, thanks :) Now I have to think of some things...

Each player of this game starts off with 10 weird things/habits/little known facts about yourself. People who get tagged need to write a blog of their own 10 weird habits/things/little known facts as well as state this rule clearly. At the end you need to choose 10 people to be tagged and list their names. No tag backs.

01. I know some people do know and others don't but I'm a christian :) Yeppers <3 God.
02. I love Enya, although I should add her to my favourite musicians... that's why I mention it now. her stuff is absolutely relaxing and you just can't help but to love her. I am a fan of the Paint the Sky with Stars best of album :)
03. I don't take compliments all that well. I love receiving them for sure but I'm an insecure person so yeah :p
04. Hating to admit it but I'm a procrastonator, but when it comes to organising something I can sit and do it. Very ironic but it's true too :S And I can be very easily distracted too :(
05. I want to study interior design next year but my real dream is acting. Funny since I can't really act.
06. While I've been to a couple of bars/clubs in my time the only one I'll visit (right now and this is on occasion I can GET there) is Star Bar in the city. It's just THE place to go to.
07. I love to laugh and smile. I love seeing celebrity photos of them smiling or laughing or doing something naturally funny. It makes it more interesting and see that they love to love life. And clips of them doing funny stuff or are quite easy going people. I'll fall in love right away, like Michael Rosenbaum. You see anything he does he naturally loves to have fun! And that's why bloopers are teh awesome :D
08. I was a Power Rangers fan when I was little, and would watch all the episodes, up until Kimberly left and then it changed too much and I grew out of it. Loved the Blue, Green/White and Yellow rangers :D
09. I have massive reactions to mosquito bites(well, it always being larger than it should). No reason, and dad thinks I COULD be allergic but it's just a massive bite, definately bigger than normal.
10. Dad helped me name my first iPod, since for some reason I did want to give it a name. He named it Ecco like the video game Dolphin: Ecco the Dolphin becase Dolphins live in pods... eh hey? *crash cymbals* And that iPod died months later and I got a replacement under warranty so the one I currently have is that same one a year and a half later (nearly two years from the purchase I made for it): Ecco II

I was wondering if anyone knew how to make an opal style with LJ and can help me out I'd love them forever and make a graphics for them (or a few) of their choice.I'd just like one of those styles and a new header/theme to the journal is all.

rainymemories - who gave me a wonderful gift thank you dearly for my paid LJ account and icons. Trying to settle them all in now. The layout though will be the fun bit :p I'm trying to give you icons you don't already have (apart from Cedric/Robert and rice) so I hope you like these anyway. :)

Single

2) Are you happy with where you are?
I guess I was. The freedom's nice but once you've had a partner you feel there's gonna be something missing till you find the one and that's what I feel right now.

3) When you meet the right person, do you fall fast?
Well, if I met the right guy I'll let you know. BUT having said that those that I like I tend to yeah, but when I find out something I pick back up again.

4) Have you ever had your heart broken?
Yeah, who hasn't?

5) Do you believe that there are certain circumstances where cheating is ok?
No. Any form of cheating's unnaceptable I think.

I would say no.

Who do I love at the moment, beside Jeff Davis? Who's a bald character in a show I'm growing to love as I watch it? Lex Luthor, and his alter ego Michael Rosenbaum. Michael is hilarious in some outtake footage I've watched and he's a looker, so he's in my head at the moment LOL. Anyone got stuff to feed my addiction? Or any Jeff Davis stuff too? :D

ETA: After watching a couple of interviews with Michael and such I love the way in which he lives and interacts - full of fun and life. I think anyoen can live by his example. Some child like innocence to him at times but I guess growing up you always still want to have your childhood back :) Just a thought I'd share

Sorry it's been so long since I posted here at my journal. TAFE has resumed but thankfully only six weeks to go before the year is over *glee* But for the next two weeks my activity may be small since I'll be doing work for my folios, so I apologise to everyone.

Not much has happened although I have gone to a couple of clubs the last couple of weekends. I want to go to another with friends this saturday but I may not be able to for one is I have no method of getting home or staying with friends, and I also have the portfolio due. Crappers.

I have two points for this post:

1) Sorry to HPB and any other place I am online. The last couple of days I couldn't get on a lot because I'd been out. Friday (AEST) I was seeing my grandpa and then i went out that night to Star Bar in Sydney and that was the most awesome place to go, and I had a great time. Even danced with a guy there for the first time ever! :| Got back to my friends and they're all 'Ah, go you!' blah blah. He was alright, but he looked have drunk (or doped but i'm tipping drunk) so it wasn't a long dance. And then Saturday I went with my friend shopping cause he wanted to buy his girlfriend something (my other best friend) so that was a whole day out. I spent last night working on my portfolio due in two weeks, which brings me to my next point...

2) I want to ask for some help. I was influenced to work on a piece for my portfolio like a collection of stamps. When I saw it at my TAFE I was in awe cause it looked awesome. Thee were more cause it was an assessment for one course. So I want to develop my own range, but I want some help.

Could anyone who has two seconds to post a comment tell me either their favourite TV show or movie. The more I get the more I have a choice to choose from. When I'm done I'll post it for everyone to see. Thanks guys.

* Why is it I think I always look bigger when everyone insists I'm not?
* I need a new phone and I can't afford it. Neither can dad.
* Going out Friday - hopefully I'll be able to catch up with a couple of people. If not I'll kick them to get their attention so we can catch up.
* When you find the best songs how come you can't get a hold of them? :(
* Why are computer makers making users' lives difficult, particularly programs
* NEED TO START PORTFOLIOS - they're due in two weeks and I've had ten weeks to do something about them. GAH I'm such a procrastonator :(
* Whose Line (US) Uncensored - apparently disappointing in specials and labeling but gag reel is good: NEED TO GET COPY
* Why is it when I fall asleep I seem to come up with ideas (96% which are useless by the morning)
* Why can't I remember half of that 96% of ideas by the morning?
* Why don't I have a job?

HOLIDAYS! YAYERS! i'm so psyched and extremely happy. I have a few things to do though like assessments, however I have a couple of projects I hope to start up, including the HPB mods Amazing Race, as I promised earlier. I do want to do it but TAFE's been a biatch just to get my stuff done.

Got a few new shirts today as I went shopping with my friend. Helped pick them out and they look great. Including an actual coloured shirt - ORANGE. My sister now is hugging me a LOT.

Hopefully a good couple of weeks to relax. Swannies lost by one point today in the finals against West Coast. LOL, the irony. Still I guess it makes both teams even now. I thought I'd be more upset but there ya go. Maybe just the holidays starting and spending my day with my friend was good enough for me.

Also hopped onto MSN for a short bit and chatted to Majo and Krissi. YAY! I'll get on in the holidays guys, sorry I couldn't stay for long tonight. :/ Blech.

I may put up my own wishlist soon again. I know I wanna get a few things so I'll make it a check list like thing. See ya guys! LUFFLES YOU ALL!

Season Premieres?

I've noticed a lot of shows starting up new seasons and such. People on my flist, honestly - are you happy with how the seasons have started off? Without giving away ANYTHING (for now, for other people's sakes if they look through the comments before posting themselves) was it worth the wait? Do you look forward for more episodes?

I'm very curious about CSI: NY, Numb3rs - these two moreso but anything is cool, I'm interested in hearing out other shows :)

All I have to say is Swannies are in the Grand Finals secondyear in a row to defend their Premiereship title! WOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I'm so darn happy and excited. I'd laugh if West Coast Eagles win tomorrow night. Finals rematch :p but Congratulations Sydney Swans and win us another Premiereship - 2nd year in a row guys!
