Boost the Budget 2026
Boost the Budget gives Blues fans the chance to donate to next season’s playing budget in return for exclusive rewards and experiences, while providing crucial support for the footballing staff.
Our target once again this year is £125,000 to give new Manager Phil Parkinson and his staff the best possible chance of battling for promotion this season.
Every penny and every pledge will make a massive difference for our club.
The 2026/27 Boost the Budget window will be open from Wednesday 27th May until Wednesday 1st July, with a fantastic range of rewards for pledgers.
I am already a boost the budget pledger, what should I do?
Nothing! If you pledged via a monthly donation last year, you will have already been contacted to say you don’t have to do a thing – simply allow your direct debit to continue running!
For any general enquiries regarding rewards, direct debits, or to move between tiers and potentially increase your pledge, please email boost@chesterfc.com.
The Importance of BTB to Chester FC
CFU Vice Chair Jim Green explains: “Phil was our number one choice and from that very first meeting, it was clear that the biggest attraction to managing our football club was you – our fans.
“It’s your passion, the atmosphere you create at the Deva, the incredible away followings, and the phenomenal support shown through Boost the Budget that makes Chester FC different.
“Our ambition remains the same: to challenge for promotion to the National League. Reaching the play-offs in three of the last four seasons – and coming so close to getting over the line – shows we are not far away. But football never stands still, and we believed the time was right to evolve if we are to keep progressing.
“In Phil and Neil, we have appointed a management team that knows exactly what it takes to achieve that ambition. Their record on the pitch speaks for itself, but just as importantly, they have shown they can build a football club – winning promotion, leading the transition to full-time football, and preparing a team to compete at the next level.
“They have brought a fresh approach, new ideas, and, above all, an incredible determination to deliver success for our football club. It’s now up to us as fans and co-owners to support them as much as we can.
“Boost the Budget is our opportunity to show Phil and Neil what makes Chester FC so special. Last season, more than 600 supporters contributed, which was magnificent. But if we can increase that by another 100 or 200 pledges, we can smash that target – and every additional pound raised will go directly into Phil’s playing budget.”
I’ve not pledged before. How do I contribute?
You can make a one-off donation or choose to pay monthly via Direct Debit to your selected tier – with Boost the Budget rewards on offer across all tiers.
The tiers are outlined below. Each tier brings additional rewards as you raise your contribution.
From my very first interview, I said it clearly, the biggest reason I chose Chester was the supporters. Nothing more, nothing less.

General Manager Albert Davies said: “The backing of Boost the Budget from our supporters year after year has been nothing short of remarkable, and to reach £125,000 last season was yet another brilliant achievement by our fans.
“This is a really exciting new chapter for our football club. The positivity around the club heading into 2026/27 is clear for everyone to see, and your backing will make a huge difference under our new Manager Phil Parkinson.
“Boost The Budget continues to play a vital role in helping the football club remain competitive, and the commitment shown by our supporters demonstrates just how powerful our fanbase can be when we come together behind a shared goal.
“If you’re able to get involved and contribute financially, that’s fantastic. Equally, simply helping to spread the word can make a huge difference as well!
“This club is built on togetherness and unity, and with almost 700 pledgers supporting Boost the Budget last season, we all know the direct impact you can make. If we can build on that number again this year, it will give Phil and his staff the strongest possible platform and help drive the club forward for the season ahead.”
