I remember when I first started law school, I used to complain about how it felt like I'd put life on hold, how life was passing me by while I was stuck in the library,reading cases and making digests. Now it feels like life is happening all at once,but I'm still too out of shape to keep up.

...on another note, I can't find my camera. Can't post photos from Spiral and laser tag, and who knows what other photos I've taken hehe. :((

Went to Megamall this morning because it was the last day of their mallwide sale. My mom bought a dress, my sister bought jeans, my dad bought a couple of neckties and barong (he's the worst shopaholic out of all of us... I think. :P)... And as for me, I bought hand sanitizer and macarons. LOL. I need to get my shopping mojo back.

I need to get back my review momentum too, because after spending 2 days on comm I pretty much stopped reviewing for 4 days. Not Good. I blame hormones, this time of the month is always horrible for me. And for the people around me. :P

...kaso nagstart na ang UAAP. :P Oh well. Shaky start for the Blue Eagles, but they'll get better. :)

Antonio's! Loved the salad, loved the soup, not a truffle fan, loved dessert!!! Especially the souffle and the panna cotta. But then I always love panna cotta, hahaha.

Bubble Tea! I loved their curry! I need to get my grubby hands on some Vermont curry roux so I can make my own. :D

Spiral on Tuesday! Granted, I'm no good at buffets, but really I'm all about the company. ;)

A certain someone entered his late twenties yesterday, and to celebrate we baked cake(s) and ate at Manang's in Ateneo. Best P169 ever? Y/Y

Also, I totally still need to conquer The Brownie. Maybe this weekend :)

I'm excited for our Tagaytay lunch later this week! I've always wanted to eat at Antonio's. :)

On another note, I'm loving all the milk tea places proliferating in the metro! I'm loyal to Bubble Tea, though. And their Japanese fried chicken was all sorts of amazing. All in all, for me it's Bubble Tea > Serenitea = Chatime > Happy Lemon > Moonleaf.

Also, I really should get myself one of those Starbucks tumblers.

Lastly, I can't wait to receive my Arashi Beautiful World eco bag!!!!!!!!!!

Hello there

Trying out the lj app hehe.

Haven't been blogging much since I decided to just lug around an iPad instead of a laptop. It's thinner, lighter, and I can play VeggieSamurai whenever I want. Haha! Typing's a pain though, hence the lack of posts and general internet activity.

There you go. I've been stalking jpopsuki every hour or so, waiting for the torrent for the new Dome dvd. ANG TAGAL. I promise when I get a job I'll buy the real thing, but for now... Nyahahaha. Saw gifs on tumblr. CAN'T WAIT.

Also. Last Sunday, the 12th, was our seventh month! I wish I had prettier words to use, but I'm in the middle of review class and it's kinda hard to get in that mood. Besides, typing's a pain. I keep missing the spacebar haha. Anyway. It's been 7 months. I'm in the middle of bar review and it's stressful and sad, but at least i have that. I still have it good, haha. :)

Wow. I don't really have much to say except that I'm glad I got through it, but I can't be too happy because there's still the bar and of course, the lawyering life that comes after. But I'm glad it's over. That being said, this achievement wasn't so much mine but my family's as well, so really, congratulations to them. :)

Also, much thanks to my family, the Gang, my chem blockmates, B2011, and Caloy for keeping me sane and yes, happy. :) I would've quit--or gone crazy, or depressed haha-- as early as my first semester if it weren't for them.

I thought having the parents go up on stage with the graduates was a nice touch :)

THEY MADE A NEW CM WITH MY FAVORITE ARASHI SONG OF ALL TIME. It's like a perfect little bonus to my already happy state of mind these days. Also this just proves how awesome my song is. <33333333333

I really can't do too much. After a while my body just shuts down. Case in point: Yesterday and today. After spending the entire day outside yesterday, I could barely get out of bed today. My body felt too heavy. I even fell asleep in Dunkin Donuts, wtf. Oh well, the tiredness was worth it :)

Also, yay for accessible macarons! They were pretty good too. :)

Well, Time and Confusion and Mae's The Everglow. Probably the only two songs I'll have memorized forever. But that's not the point. Haha! The point being, I love that song and consequently, I love the band that made that song. ...But probably not at the level I love my Japanese boyband. :P

We went to Anberlin's concert at A Venue last night. Part of me thought I was too old for that kind of scene (Especially when the first three bands were performing, haha) but you know what? I'd always wanted to go to a (foreign) rock concert, and I'd always wanted to see Anberlin live, and really, last night was a dream come true for me. <3

Whatever's in the past is just that: it's in the past. Frankly I'm thankful for everything, because otherwise I wouldn't be where I am now, and where I am now is happiest when I'm with you. I wouldn't trade us for anything. :)

Just came from the Sugarfree gig at Route 196. So now my entire being reeks of cigarette smoke, and I couldn't see them because of the massive crowd of people, and did I mention we were there for 7 hours? But it was totally worth it just to be there and hear them, live, singing along with them. Most likely for the last time.

I think, out of all the Pinoy bands out there, Sugarfree evokes the most nostalgia. It's right up there in the soundtrack of my high school/early college days, along with (I think) Fuel, Dave Matthews Band, and Belle and Sebastian. When I hear Telepono I remember Dianne, who gave me a copy of their album; when I hear Mariposa, I remember listening to the song on loop, cramming my English term paper (and occasionally checking this LJ, haha); and when I hear Burnout, for some reason, I feel a tug in my heart. I don't even know why or for what, I just do. Maybe I've forgotten concrete moments, but I still remember the feelings I'd associated with their songs.

So I'm really glad I finally got to see them. Ebe was right; even if they disband, their music will stay, maybe forever. Walang paalam. :)

Sometimes it's good to have friends in high places... literally. :P

Now, if anyone asks about manga, I'd say I'm only following Fairy Tail and Reborn these days. And maybe Souleater. I love Full Metal Alchemist, and I'm waiting for a spinoff. That's it.

And if anyone asks me further, I'd say I used to adore Bleach but lately it's been unbearable, and then I'd start ranting about Aizen was unbeatable, this latest arc is boring, etc. etc. In fact I haven't even been reading Bleach, except that this popped up on my Friends list, and.

Excuse me while I squee and melt into a puddle of goo.

WHY, WHY DOES THIS ALWAYS HAPPEN. It's like after weeks of excruciating waiting--months even--I'd get thrown a shipping bone and eat it all up. And then weeks of waiting again, and then another bone, and then waiting, and then another bone... (BUT I HAVE TO SAY, THE RECENT RUKIA DISAPPEARING SCENE MADE MY DAY FOR WEEKS. Not that "made my day for weeks" makes sense, but that's how I feel. For realz. :P)

1. This should be my 3rd year as an Arashi fan. Frankly, this is the longest I've ever obsessed over anything, period, so I guess this really is love. The real, honest-to-goodness kind. :P

2. I haven't been watching anything Arashi-related these days, like dramas or variety shows, partly because I've been busy with other things and partly because my internet doesn't really let me download bigass subbed files. (Although I have been watching tv performances, and I watched Kouhaku last New Year's Eve hehe)

3. This afternoon Caloy downloaded the Scene concert (IKR!!!), and I'm watching it right now, and halfway through Love So Sweet I just had to pause the video and post here on LJ, because dammit my heart was overwhelmed with so much fondness and affection and I needed to tell the world.

Yes, I Love My Japanese Boyband. :D

1. I won my first case today. And by "my first case", I mean I did the work, I put in the effort, for EVERYTHING. Start to end. Position Paper, Reply, Rejoinder, appearances. And we won! Akalain mo yun. Res judicata na, nakalusot pa. :P

...And it's put all sorts of strange ideas into my head, like maybe-I-dunno-just-maybe I can actually spend the rest of my life doing this? Well maybe not the rest of my life rest of my life, but you know what I mean. Or ~~maybe~~ most likely it's just the exhilaration. :P

2. MONEY.

I wouldn't say it's hard labor, but it did almost cost me a friend. HAHA. In any case, YAY <3

I'm turning 26 this year. My dad had me when he was 26. Way to put your life in perspective, WHUT UP.

Last year was really just like any other year-- slacking off, spacing out, running away to happy places when life was getting to be too much-- except that my happiness level really just spiked up immensely towards the end of the year. (:P) This year I'll have my game face on. I'm grabbing life by the horns. I'm finishing what I started. This year, I become a lawyer, just wait and see.

...Here's to maintaining my sanity. :P
