89. Hunger Games dream cast

katniss everdeen || caitlin stasey

I never thought of Caitlin as Katniss until I watched the trailer for Tomorrow When The Began. She looks amazing in the trailer and I can't wait to see the movie and watch how she is on the big screen. I do remember her on Neighbours and the Sleepover Club. Her acting isn't too bad and I know she can sing as she recorded those songs with Dean Geyer while on Neigbours.

Other choices are kaya scodelario and elizabeth gillies.

peeta mellark || toby regbo

I stumbled along to Toby through IMDB when someone suggested him. I had a look and thought he was perfect as Peeta. I watch the trailer and clips of Glorious 39 and judging from that he looks like a good actor. Plus, he is going to be young Dumbledore in the last Harry Potter movie.

Other choices are hunter parrish and lucas till.

gale hawthorne || asher brook

I saw Asher suggested in a fan casting and thought he was perfect. I have no idea how old he is, but he fits the description of Gale.

haymitch abernathy || hugh laurie

I know he is a popular choice for Haymitch, but I thought he fit very perfectly. Plus, he is great on House.

effie trinket || kristin chenoweth

She's another popular suggestion and I've only seen her on Glee. She seems to fit the description of Effie well.

cinna || hugh dancy

I love the suggestion of Hugh as Cinna. I can imagine him trying to make clothes and designing them for Katniss. Plus, he isn't a bad actor. I've seen him in Confessions Of A Shopholic.

portia || zooey deschanel

I love Zooey and she would be a great fit as Portia. Plus, she would be working with Hugh for the clothes they design for Peeta and Katniss.

Other choice is emily blunt.

primrose everdeen || chloe moretz

I know everyone doesn't like the casting rumours surrounding Chloe as Katniss, but I think she fits Prim much better, especially she is younger than Caitlin and she has the blue eyes and blonde hair that Prim has.

Other choices are elle fanning and ryan simpkins.

mrs everdeen || naomi watts

I thought Naomi would be a good choice for Mrs Everdeen. She is beautiful and I can see her longing for her husband and drifting off because of that. She looks like she can be a healer like Mrs Everdeen and I can see how Mr Everdeen and Peeta's father fell for her.

madge undersee || dianna agron

I know Dianna is a bit old to play Madge, but I kind think she is perfect as her.

rue || yara shahidi

I saw this casting suggestion and though Yara would be perfect for the role of Rue.

foxface || lily collins

I know Lily is a popular choice for Katniss, but I thought she would be better suited for Foxface. She kind of has the red hair and I can her sneaking around the arena.

Other choice is emma stone.

finnick odair || xavier samuel

I know Finnick isn't mentioned until Catching Fire, but Xavier looks perfect for the role of Finnick.
