I wish I could have done it, before I'd gone completely under and left. I was being forced to live the perfect life: the cozy house in a suburb in San Mariano, a wealthy and popular husband, a social circle comprised of the who's who, and two daughters I'd give my life for. No one knew, or wanted to know, of what had been.

I should have bought the dancing shoes. I should have taken up the offer to teach at the studio. I should have kept the music on. Maybe, maybe just then I could have kept it all.
