The four children turned around to see Ida standing in the doorway. "Mom, it was just a song," Nina protested.
"Oh I know that song; it was already around when your dad and I were kids," Ida said as she set down the bowl of candy. "I will be standing by the bathroom later tonight, and don't even think of trying to do that trick with the toothpaste and the foam."
Nina laughed while her younger sister just groaned. "She's on to us," Tara said to her younger brothers."
