We probably had a similar question to this back when we did music for Saturday prompts, but that was a while ago, so!
Does your character have a 'theme song', either ICly (chosen by them) or OOCly (by you)? Some song that they/you feel just sums up their life and struggles and personality? If so.... share it! Feel free to elaborate on why it fits the character.
As the mun, I've given plenty of thought to music describing my muse, her sisters, and their relationships, but the right theme song proved difficult to determine. Neither Meredith Brooks' "Bitch" (reflecting as it did her self-assertive ability to adapt and wear several hats) nor Ne-Yo's "Miss Independent" (reflecting Prue's self-sufficiency and poise), really get at what I believe is the true heart of the character.
The song that best does that, I think, is the oldie with her name on it: "Dear Prudence", by the Beatles. A song that is about encouraging a teenage girl to let her guard down for a moment and enjoy the beautiful day, which is what SO MANY people in Prue's life now constantly urge her to do -- find balance, stop and smell the roses on the way to stopping the apocalypse, follow her dreams. For a woman who has sacrificed so much of herself, in particular her hopes and dreams, that's the song of her life.
