Thursday Mr. Fixit & Friday Good Qualities of A Bad Person

Tonight, 100 words on something that was broken but now is not.

A.N.: I knew I wanted this to be about Victor fixing something with Doc's help -- took me a minute to figure out just what he should be fixing, though.

Prompt: Broken No Longer

“Replace the panel, and – that should do it!”
Victor gave the last screw a final turn before stepping back. Doc checked that everything was back in place, then flipped the switch. The generator roared to life, electricity crackling through it and up into their flat. Doc clapped Victor on the shoulder. “Good job.”
“Thank you.” Victor swelled with pride. He’d fixed something! He’d actually fixed something! Sure, it had been a simple repair, and Doc had walked him through it, but still – he’d been the one to actually do the work.
Now he truly felt like a citizen of Secundus.

Enemies. We all have them. Those loathsome, slimy, mendacious, scumbags that exist to make our lives difficult-- or to make us look good by comparison. Let's give the Devil his due. Make a list of your worst enemy's good traits.

Er -- I'm not sure I have a worst enemy. . . The closest person that comes to mind is Gordon Tannen. I suppose I could list a few of his:

  • Can be friendly to people who aren't me
  • Strong
  • Charismatic at times
  • Loves dogs

That's all I can really think of. Perhaps only putting down four is unfair to him. . .but on the other hand, he did like to upset me quite a lot.
