Twosday: Past or Future
Do you dwell in the past, or look to your future?
I suppose I look more toward the past. But with recent events in my life, how can one help not to?
Twenty years ago I was a young bride and I had my entire future ahead of me. Henri and I were happy; I was pregnant with Monde’s future monarch. Nothing could have gone wrong then.
But of course it did. My child died, my mother died, my father in law died and I was thrust into the world stage as Henri’s queen. But I had been raised for this role.
Little did I know that my life would continue to steer out of control.
