NaNoWriMo

1. I'm going to try. Whether or not I will succeed is still unknown. I'd really like to.
2. To be honest, it's quite daunting. I'm the kind of person who works at my own pace, but I've also found that I work really well under pressure. Writing a novel is a huge task, and it feels like I will be cramming 2+ years of work into one month.
3. I tried once before, in 2009, and failed. Epically. The timing of NaNo coincided, unfortunately, with a rough situation, and I think that if that hadn't been going on, I may ahve succeeded.
4. Write what feels good to you, and don't worry about what anyone else says. And don't take criticism personally, unless it's outright mean. Read the criticism and learn from it, but do not change your story to suit others.
5. I'm a little of both, actually. I like to plot out basic ideas and characters, and everything else I figure out as I go along.
6. I still am not sure.
7. Maybe some tips on how to succeed, as well as a forum where people can voice their thoughts?
