"It would be Salem redux. Putting an entire coven on trial in the hope we expose their magic."
"Sounds like something I'd like to watch." Two cunning smiles. "But go ahead. And how, exactly would you...?"
"Jury summons."
The malevolent spark lights her eyes. "Force her to choose. Hm." A hand, beguiling, on his arm. "The Brotherhood has nothing to worry about from me. Do we have anything to worry about with you?"
He clasps her hand in his. "Not a thing."
Her most appraising look. "Prove it."
The sheer hunger in the kiss is enough.
