Sunday house swap

Heard of those house-exchange/house-swap programs? Well, you've just wound up in one, congratulations!

Write a brief description of your home and list the ground rules for the tenants you're willing to tolerate for the house swap you have, somehow, agreed to. Then invite prospective swap-ees to ask you questions about your place and negotiate the switcheroo! Great way to travel and see the world, right?

Emil and Marce are putting up their house for exchange, for a short while

For exchange: Two storey house, with 3 bedrooms (2 working bedrooms and 1 study/library), 2 bathrooms, and a working kitchen. Additional features include a front yard with a garage and driveway, backyard with small sandbox and play area for children, and lanai with breakfast nook and sofa. Living room has a full entertainment system. Library has a desktop PC with internet access (broadband). 2 telephones are installed, one per floor.

Ground Rules

1. Please keep the place clean. A sweeping every night is advised
2. No pouring hard objects or liquid fat down the sinks. We are not responsible if the sinks get clogged.
3. Library shelves and drawers that are locked are understood to be off-limits. Please do not attempt to open these or meddle with their contents
4. Downloads are absolutely prohibited on the PC
5. Animals are tolerated, but if one is bringing cats *please* clean up after them thoroughly.
6. Firecrackers and deadly weapons are not tolerated on the premises. The same goes for drunken parties, gambling, and using illegal substances/drugs
7. Having guests is permissible, but please clean up after them and ensure they do not leave their personal belongings lying around after you have vacated the house
8. Enjoy the neighborhood.
