Sunday back in time

That strange door you stepped through (or that ray beam that hit you) (or the weird spell you overheard) seems to have thrown you back (or possibly forward!) in time! You're a Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's court, or the other time period of your choice: somewhere, anywhere anywhen where the technology level is significantly different than in your own world.

All you have on you is the clothes on your back.

What will you do? How will you survive, and not get burned at the stake or deemed a crazy person? Perhaps you're not the only stranded soul here-- use the RP tag and invite others to get lost in the 15th/18th/3rd century with you-- and jump in on the threads of others!

Marce's nightmare here

"I should have taken Ida's advice and read more Austen."

It was the best thing that came to Marce's mind as she looked up and down the street in Portsmouth. It was bad enough that she was not wearing anything 'lady like'; sure a red shirt and black slacks were proper for her work, but not for where she was. It was worse that she was so brown, unmistakably foreign for her setting. "All that even before opening my mouth," she thought as she got out of the way of a carriage.

Even from here she could hear the shouts of sailors making their way to their respective ships. "What did my friends say again about life in the Navy?" she wondered as she searched for a friendly face.
