I have been in love maybe… once in my life, and I can’t say that it was the best time of my life.
Once I am sure I was a fairly attractive child, but years of silly, dangerous games and being accident prone has left me with a lot of scars, physical ones only though.
Problem is that when people see me, they don’t see someone who was once attractive, they just see the scars.
So the one time I was in love I got turned down because she couldn’t deal with the scars.
I’ll find someone one day though.

I... don't really understand this quote, though I guess this is partly because I don't really understand prayer. Or religion. A friend once told me that if I believed in god and prayed, he would give me a body with no scars at all. I think she meant after the resurrection, or whatever they call it when they all get lifted up, but it just seemed so stupid to me
