Diana and Love :D

Post a picture(s) of your hero(es).

Marianne's POV:

If I have to choose my hero I'll probably choose Diana. She is popular as the Roman goddess of hunt and moon, but she was actually worshipped as a patron of birth and women. I like the duality in her nature. I imagine her to be an elegant young woman, that can stand her ground and fight for what she wants. I think she can be a good model for girls to aspire to.

Love - A simple, short word. One of the most powerful in the world. Write 100 words on it.

Josh's POV:

They were lying on the balcony of their section. Tashruh was filling their line of vision and the sun was barely peeking through from behind it. Aleera was sprawled over him, her body tightly pressed to his, as if she was the one that had been punished. They've in this position ever since he had come back from his...educational session. Letting the Darkness wonder around the System was a mistake. Josh scowled. As if he had let her sneak into a class full of children on purpose.

"I'm sorry." She whispered softly and looked at him. One of her legs tangled with his and then her hands were wrapping him in a hug. Josh winced at the pain that shot through his body "I'm sorry." she repeated vehemently. He felt wet lips press hard against his jaw. He couldn`t help his smile - she was branding her affection into his skin.

"Hey, it's fine." He said, tangling his fingers into her hair, and tried to make her look at him, but she only held tighter to his body. "Just don't go wandering about any more."

"I don't want you to get hurt." It came small and broken and his heart throbbed painfully at the words.

"Don't worry, even if I do, you are still fine, so..."

"No!" Aleera abruptly rose and stared at him wide eyed, tears sliding down her cheeks. She grabbed his head and looked his eyes "I don't want you to get hurt." she said slowly, accenting the words.

Josh couldn't react. The words refused to sink in, but then the whole situation knocked the air out of his lungs. Aleera was hurting for him. She cared. Of course, he knew she cared, but it had always been because he was made from her. He gasped, trying to get air in his failing lungs. For the first time in his life, someone...

"I love you." She whispered pressing their foreheads together. The word faded. It didn't matter any more. All that mattered was the girl in his arms that loved him and calming down his heart, so he could live another day.
