What do you do when you feel like you've lost the motivation to write? Not because you have writer's block necessarily - but just that fundamental desire to put pen to paper, or fingers to keys?
How do you rekindle your desire to write?
Honestly, I never really lose the desire to write. I consider it my personal playtime. However, when I get those less-than-motivated spells, I deal by rereading old favorites: things that inspire me to write. Or I simply take a walk or ride through the city. Usually I find something there that compels me, that is begging to be told.
