Tell us about your second choice.
Economics. I majored in it, when really I would have done so much better in an arts related degree. I only did it to please my parents, or really just as a compromise. I was prepared to threaten not to go university at all if I wasn't allowed to take up drama, but my friend James (or Professor P as my friends know him), convinced me to just 'go through the motions' of school and save my passion for the university drama guild. I'm glad I took his advice, painful as it was to deal with on some days. If I hadn't majored in Economics, I'd think differently. I might not have met Emil. I might not have gotten involved in social issues.

Now I wish that the Golden Gate Bridge (not that far from where I am now) had that same property of lighting up the night!!
