He'd believed he would win her heart. He'd been as gallant as any man could and much more courageous than any wolf in history. He'd read and followed every book on winning the girl. He'd romanced her. He'd been her hero, her confidante, and her best friend in a time of need and wild adventuring. He'd done everything she could ask for and more. He'd been the ideal hero, and yet, somehow, he'd still not achieved a permanent place in her heart. "Huff puff!" Wolf cried forlornly, never knowing he'd won over another heart just as close and far better.
