Prompts

Thursday. Drabble. Hundred words. Prompt is "Win". Go.

Marianne:

Marianne prided herself in being kind, gentle, and patient. That's the way her mother had been in her memories so she tried to be a worthy daughter. This time around she was close to snapping.

She was standing on her porch and pressing a cup of steaming coffee to her chest. She watched as the neighbour's child stopped next to her perfect green lawn. She watched as the neighbour's dog stopped on the her green lawn, lifted a leg and dumped a load. The whole time the child's sneaky little eyes stared at her and challenged her to do something. The dog finished, and the child grinned smugly at her.

Marianne took a sip from her coffee. A gust of wind passed through her precious lawn, picked the excrements and smeared them all over the kids face. Some thing she didn't have to tolerate.
