(OLD) Twosday: Parting Words
A/N: It's within the fantastical nature of the Charmedverse to allow departed spirits to briefly revisit the Earth under certain conditions. So, these were not final goodbyes, but Prue believed them to be so at the time, and that is what matters.

Dear Mommy,
Grams says you are happy in heaven because there is peace there and no pain. Everybody likes heaven she says. Well maybe I will like heaven too! Can't we all come and be with you? I know it's silly and I really just have to stay here and make sure Piper and Phoebe are okay but I want to be with you Mommy. I miss you so much. I wish heaven was like the hospital and I could visit. Maybe one day when I grow up and get old. Wait for me okay? Wait for us?

Grams,
I honestly don't know if I can say all I need to in a letter. Everything I am is because of you -- some measure of your good influence, your patience, your example of strength. Thank you for those things. Thank you for, well, for raising us. I know "it wasn't easy" goes without saying, but you truly sacrificed a great deal, and we never thanked you enough. I just hope I can live up to your hopes.
You always told us nothing was more important than family, than thinking about the future. I never asked for your blessing, but I do hope I have it. And I promise you, whatever phase we are going through right now, we will get through it. I'll make sure of it.
I'm not quite sure if you even are anywhere, let alone able to hear this, but if you can, please don't worry. Just know that we miss you, and tell mom we miss her too.
