Is this part of a longer quote? The way it starts makes it feel like it is. . . Nevertheless, I agree with Mr. Evan's thoughts. There's quite a lot to see and hear in the world, and you never know when some of it might interest you in some way. If I hadn't stumbled across a certain steam train in the woods and given in to the urge to examine it, I wouldn't even be here. And in Secundus, there's always something to see or hear -- usually both. You've got to keep an eye on your surroundings just to get through the day in one piece. And of course, it's always good to keep learning. I've learned a lot in my time here, and I'm always ready to know more.
