Friday Living In -- Two Places

Make a list of places you have lived and tell us a bit about each place.

Well, I've only really lived in one town and one city. . . I think I can stretch my list out to three, though, if I get more specific:

  1. Burtonsville, our first house: This is the house we all lived in until I was seven. It was closer to the edges of town, and much more modest than our house in the town square. I rather liked it -- there was lots of wide-open space all around us where Scraps and I could run around and play. And I seem to remember my room there being a bit more cheerful than my room in our mansion.

  2. Burtonsville, our second house: We moved into this house when I was seven -- Mother said it would be a good way of showing off how wealthy we were. It was right on the town square, across from the Everglots, and it was huge. I got lost in it my first day there. I'm not sure we even used half the rooms. I never liked it there as much as our old house. It felt -- too big. Too imposing. Though we had a nice garden out back, I'll give it that.

  3. Secundus, Doc and Marty's flat: This is where I'm currently living, having been brought here by Doc's flying train. It's much smaller than anywhere else I've lived -- there's only six rooms, and none of them are very big (except maybe the sitting room). I don't even have a bedroom here -- I sleep on the couch in the sitting room. But it's also one of the friendliest places I've lived. Doc and Marty are excellent company, and I'd much rather have a rather small flat than an unnecessarily huge mansion.
