Twosday I Owe You
Tell us about two debts: either ones you owe to other people, or ones other people owe to you, or mix-n-match. Anything from lending a friend $20 to having student loan debt to owing somebody your life is fair game.
Well, I think in a weird way I do owe someone my life -- I owe Doc and Marty for bringing me to Secundus and letting me live with them. Doc didn't have to give me room and board along with the job. He didn't have to let me stay at all. I owe them the life that I have here now -- a life where I'm a lot happier than I ever was back home. I suppose I'm in the midst of paying this off, given that I work for Doc, but I think it's one of those things that never really gets repaid. Just a lot of gratitude.
In a more mundane (for Secundus) sense, I owe Lewis a bread-and-butterfly -- he let me catch one and take it home to study it a bit more. I need to bring it back today so it can be with its fellows again (apparently they get lonely if kept away from their own kind for too long, and mine's looking a bit droopy).
