Thursday: Precious Memories
Tonight, one hundred words on: something special you have on display.
A.N.: A bit of fluff for Lucy. The last lines are specifically inspired by a Lewis Black bit I saw, where he listed off crappy presents you get for Hannukah and declared it a "back to school holiday!"
Hey, what’s this?”
“What?” Lucy looked over, then smiled. “Oh! Those are some pics my parents sent me of my very first Christmas and Hanukkah.”
“Oh.” Trevor ran a finger over the frame. “You were a pretty cute baby.”
“Aw, thank you! I thought I was.” Lucy joined him in front of the photographs. “You know, I’m lucky. Most kids only get to celebrate one holiday – I got to celebrate two.”
“Yeah, but all the Jewish comedians make jokes about Hannukah.”
“Hey, in my mind, a present is a present, even if it is something more appropriate for school sales.”
