Twosday Amnesia Blues (and rebelling against the prompt)

If you could pick only one memory to remember about your life and everything else was gone, what would it be?

Do forgive me for going meta, but this hits close to home in a very strange way. You see, two of my mun's other muses -- friends of mine -- have suffered pretty much total amnesia. One's a version of Doc Brown (from Back To The Future) who was kidnapped by faeries and spend years as a memory-less slave after an escape attempt. The other --

Is another Victor Van Dort.

He's on tumblr, and nicknamed Forgotten Vows. I believe Victoria's mentioned him on here before -- he's a crossover muse too, with "Alice: Madness Returns." And part of his involvement in her story is -- is getting his memories wiped by Dr. Bumby. Who wanted him as a "personal assistant."

For those of you unfamiliar with the game, Bumby is the villain and -- planned to turn Alice into a prostitute. He also does some rather horrible things to children.

Yes, my other self has some issues.

Suffice it to say, after hearing about how horrible it is to lose memories, even bad ones, from them -- especially from Forgotten Vows, because he's another version of me -- the idea of any form of amnesia rather frightens me. So yes, like I said, I really don't think I could do this prompt.

Besides, I have too many wonderful memories now to pick just one.
