Twosday: Memories. . .

If you could pick only one memory to remember about your life and everything else was gone, what would it be?

and

If you could wipe one memory from your mind with no consequences, what would it be?

Okay, that first question is rather creepy, don't you think? All right, if I had amnesia. . . I think I'd want to remember when I left home for college. If you think that's an odd memory to keep, consider this:
a) It has my parents in it, so I'd remember them -- or, at least, that I know these people and apparently care for them
b) My mom insisted that I memorize their phone number before leaving. And they haven't ever changed that number, so I'd have someone to call!
See? Planning.

As for wiping a memory. . .if it's consequence-free, I'd prefer not remembering seeing the asylum go up in flames. Yeah, I know, kind of a defining moment in my life, but -- damn, it's not a pleasant memory. Can you really blame me for wanting it gone?
